MAB Foundation Founders Club Levels
Joining the Founder Club at one of these levels ensures the future of the MAB Foundation’s scholarship program. All monies are safely invested and restricted for only scholarship use. This means that all donations to the Founders Club will go directly into securing the future of the broadcasting industry by honoring and supporting our student and future professional broadcasters. Subsequent Founders Club donations may be added to current levels to increase your recognition. Thank you for considering!
How does this work? All scholarship recipients are selected by our partnering Michigan colleges and universities and exemplify the best future broadcasting workforce in the nation. See the current list of scholarship winners at the official MABF scholarship website.
Chairman’s Level - $100,000
This is the highest and most prestigious of the Founders Club level giving the donor four (4) annual and ongoing scholarships to the Michigan college or university of their choice. Amount may be amoritized over five (5) years and may be named and designated however the donor sees fit. Donor will have the opportunity to meet with scholarship recipients every year during the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo’s Main Luncheon in March. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
President’s Level - $50,000
This is the second highest and most prestigious of the Founders Club level giving the donor two (2) annual and ongoing scholarships to the Michigan college or university of their choice. Amount may be amoritized over five (5) years and may be named and designated however the donor sees fit. Donor will have the opportunity to meet with scholarship recipients every year during the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo’s Main Luncheon in March. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
Endowment Level - $25,000
This Founders Club level gives the donor one (1) annual and ongoing scholarship to the Michigan college or university of their choice. Amount may be amoritized over five (5) years and may be named and designated however the donor sees fit. Donor will have the opportunity to meet with scholarship recipient every year during the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo’s Main Luncheon in March. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
Membership Level - $10,000
This amount allows the donor listing in the prestigious Founders Club, listed to the left, with all donations restricted for scholarship use only. Amount may be amoritized over five (5) years. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
Benefactor Level - $5,000
This amount allows the donor listing in the prestigious Founders Club, listed to the left, with all donations restricted for scholarship use only. Amount may be amoritized over five (5) years. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
Sustaining Level - $2,500
This amount allows the donor listing in the prestigious Founders Club, listed to the left, with all donations restricted for scholarship use only. Donors will be listed on all official MAB Foundation publications, promotion, website and during any MAB Foundation event.
Structured donations are also available through various investment vehicles which offer your company or personal portfolio very attractive tax advantages while helping to preserve and expand the broadcast industry for future generations to enjoy. Donations to the Founders Club may assist active broadcasters in reaching optional EEO requirements.
