- Promotional
Announcement - A single spot promoting school,
station, programs or events for no more than 3 minutes.
- Large Group Radio - Any
entry with four or more participants is entered into the
Large Group Category.
The Large Group Category is not limited by the
subject matter (e.g. Sports, News, Aircheck, etc.).

Television Categories
- News - Actual
or simulated newscast. No more than 30 minutes.
- News Feature
- Actual
or simulated news feature or story.
No more than (5) five minutes.
- Sportscast/Play by
Play - Actual or simulated sportscast, program or
play-by-play of a sports event for no more than 3 minutes.
- Public Affairs/Talk
Show - A program no more than 30 minutes in length
featuring issues of social importance or how-to programming.
- Public Service
Announcement - An authentic or fictitious
announcement not more than (:60) seconds in length.
- Large Group TV - Any
entry with four or more participants is entered into the
Large Group Category.
The Large Group Category is not limited by the
subject matter (e.g. Sports, News, Aircheck, etc.).

All entries were judged by professional radio and television
broadcasters in Michigan. All judges decisions are final, and judges may give
awards for first, second and honorable mention.
