Statistics indicate that 58 percent of Michigan toddlers are not up to date on their vaccinations and only 37.7 percent of Michigan teens ages 13 to 17 are up to date on their vaccinations.
The MAB Board of Directors authorized IVaccinate as their statewide Community Service Campaign for 2018-19 earlier this year. Thank you for your help in promoting childhood vaccinations.
August is Immunization Month in Michigan. As students go back to school parents have check lists of things their kids need. You can help encourage parents to add update my childs vaccinations to their Back to School checklist.
There is a lot of misinformation floating around about immunizations. The I Vaccinate campaign provides Michigan parents with information and tools based on real medical science and research. Resources are available and include a Michigan-specific website (IVaccinate.org), social media communities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), and more.
