Help Celebrate 100 Years of Radio

From the NAB:  Radio turns 100 this year! To celebrate this important milestone, we’re kicking off a year of #Radio100 and putting the spotlight on radio’s enduring value.

Our first feature, released in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, highlighted radio’s integral role in fostering democracy and civil discourse.

We’re using #Radio100 on social media all year to highlight big moments in radio and the innovations driving us forward. Follow us @nabtweets and join the conversation about how radio continues to thrive, despite myriad entertainment options available to listeners.

Here’s how you can join in:

• Identify key moments at your station to share on social using #Radio100 and post these throughout the year. Radio has covered the greatest moments in history – share some of your favorites.
• Encourage your listeners to post their favorite radio moments on your station’s social pages using #Radio100.
• Retweet and share NAB’s feature stories and posts on radio’s intrinsic value.
