iHeartMedia Promotes Detroit’s Tony Travatto

Tony Travatto, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Detroit and PD of  WKQI-FM and WNIC-FM has been promoted to a Division Executive Vice President of Programming for the iHeartMedia National Programming Group.  The announcement was made January 16.

Travatto is one of three promoted to the position in the National Programming Group.  Joining him are Jeff Hurley, Regional SVP of Programming from the company’s Allentown/Harrisburg Region and Angela Watson Charles, who has been SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia New Orleans.

“We’re excited to add Angela, Jeff and Tony to our already extremely talented Executive Vice President of Programming team,” said Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “They each have deep experience building great local brands with a blend of math and magic, and they’ll provide excellent leadership to our programmers in our Community Division markets.”
