WCMU Public Media’s Linda Dielman Retires

Longtime WCMU Public Media employee Linda Dielman has retired. Dielman has been an important part of WCMU Public Media since 1981. She held multiple positions in marketing, public relations, programming, grants and outreach.

As a trusted advisor to not only the staff at WCMU, but at stations around the country, Dielman left a legacy in Public Broadcasting. She also served on the local and national level with the National Association of Broadcasting Employees and Technicians (NABET), including service as Local 412 President for over 35 years. In retirement, Linda plans to spend time with her 101-year-old mother, enjoying her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The station said that in her retirement, “you’ll likely find her at her home or in her yard surrounded by loved ones laughing and making everyone around her feel special. Linda, thank you for making WCMU Public Media a beloved resource for our community. Congratulations!!”
