WEMU Welcomes Scott Pohl to Mornings (Temporarily)

Eastern Michigan University’s WEMU-FM (Ypsilanti) is welcoming a new voice to its air:  Scott Pohl.  Pohl is filling in for WEMU Morning Edition host David Fair, who is on medical leave.  Pohl retired from WKAR-AM/FM in 2020 as senior news reporter. During his time at WKAR (1984-2020), he has worked as a host, producer, call-in show anchor and general assignment reporter who enjoyed reporting on stories about art, music, science and health.

WEMU’s Lisa Barry spoke with Pohl about his career, including his time as a jazz show radio host on a commercial station in East Lansing.
